Hey everyone!! I have just recently joined Blades of Legends and have come to realize it is going to be my summer pass time thing. Across the time I have been playing I have thought of interesting things and ideas for the developers to take in mind. So first off I would like everyone to know some things may be opinion based and I would like for you to respect mine because I will always respect yours. So lets get started!
Help Option
This option is a must have!! Players get confused about many thing and most need guidance threw it! This feature is a simple icon looking something like this '[?]', upon clicking this wonderful button a menu will pop up that will not interrupt battle or tradeskill, it will proceed to tell you how something works and its own features. With it not interrupting battle or tradeskill this will make it possible for players to multi task which will be brought up later. This feature should be located near important things that players need the most help with.
Different Chat Rooms
This one is a bit explanatory. I think there should be different chat room for many purposes, first off it would limit the amount of chat spam in one room. This will also allow players to join other rooms and discuss things that aren't relevant to something going on in the general room. Rooms that could be a possibility, Help and Guidance, Anime and Manga, Trade, Staff (Can't just favor the players ), Event/Boss. That is all I can currently think of but im sure you guys can come up with more.
Trading Menu
This menu should be implemented because it makes trading more convenient. Instead of players mailing the items and possibly not getting items in return you could simply type /trade (players name) and a window would open and you could trade items and other goods.
Training/New Mithril Abilities
This feature can be altered in many ways. This feature would be implemented to give more purpose to the leveling system and skill points/Mithril (like it isn't already spent billions at a time). You will use food and other resources to train certain abilities depending on the "class" you chose with your first skill point. Say you chose the mage skill tree, you would go and train your sorcery skill and increase your accuracy with spells and critical hit chance. The rewards you get out of training vary on the training you chose. You could also train weapon skills and armor skills depending on your class. Now if the training feature seems like its to much the idea still isn't trash, there should be more thing you can buy with mithril in the mithril skills.
Multi-tasking
This is something that bothered me since I joined. I would start an auto battle or just a single battle, and go to check clan stats or something else. This could be done in multiple ways, first off there could be tabs instead of options to change the current activity. Secondly, there could be another activity menu that is different from the Battle/Tradeskill menu. With this feature implemented players could manage more things instead of watching their battles boringly.
Kingdoms
This feature is my personal favorite out of the few I suggested. This idea can be taken everywhere with its design. The base structure of this feature is when you start out in the game you are sorta no where, with this you will be given a place where you can build your character. You would start out in the beginner kingdom which would be owned by staff or a bot of some sort. Kingdoms will charge you taxes which would be things like gold or things gathered from tradeskilling. This would also be a way to start making players require food for the sake of their character surviving. This would also be a great time to say that there could also be a Kingdom recruitment chat and a kingdom chat that is limited to your own kingdom. Players could start their own kingdom, like clan but instead more resources heavy and much bigger. Upon creating the kingdom you will get a King title and players can also join your kingdom at anytime. There would be a taxing system that the king would set for players when they join. When moving into a kingdom you are given a free home but you still pay a low tax amount. Every kingdom will have its own map which will show all the players homes and locations of said homes, the players wishing to move to larger home will be able to go to the map and see where they would like to move. In the kingdom map players could purchase bigger homes at the cost of higher taxes and possible perks, like a player could purchase a house near a mine which would boost their mining tradeskill by +1 or something of similarity, this feature would also work with the woodcutting tradeskill like if you were to move near a forest. But players moving to a place that gave them boosts shouldn't only be rewarded, maybe a player loses a point in woodcutting or hunting. In order for these players to move the king will have to construct homes in locations he thinks will be bought by players, so while the king himself is in the map menu he can click to build a new home and when hovering over a location perks will pop up and the cost of the home, the more perks, the more it costs to build. The king will be able to build peasant houses for the cheapest but they cannot have perks. Players who aren't all about the social life can always move out of a kingdom and into the wilderness which they have a chance to be randomly attacked by (possibly other players , animals and bandits. This is also where the training feature could come in handy. I know you may be wondering "Where would all the possible kingdoms and wilderness be", well the answer to that is its actually one mega map where kingdom are places next to each other, there will be wilderness reserved for players that aren't interested in the Kingdom feature and these places cannot be attack or taken over by kingdoms. A few other things that may be questioned, "What will happen to clans?"and "Are there perks to being in a kingdom?". The first question is answered not softly but players clans could possibly be turned into guilds which would be located in a kingdom and each guild will have Guild Halls which would be the new clan interface, but clans could still be a thing, guilds could be for kingdoms only and maybe have perks that clans don't have but as well as clans having perks guilds don't. Clans could be for players that are outside kingdoms or inside as well, just guilds are for Kingdoms only! This would make the biggest / best guild in the kingdom sort of rule it. This will also make it so there is more Clan/Guild interaction. Clan members could live either in a kingdom or the wilderness. Now I know this seems is a lot so maybe this kingdom feature could be the 'Big ol' Update'.
Conclusion
So that is all for suggestions and I hope you staff take some into consideration. I can always go into more detail about features and options about them, also if any of these are accepted and there seems to be a problem or help is needed about them I would gladly like to help designing them.
