I was suggested to post this suggestion because people thought it'd be a goodn.
So the idea is as follows:
Instead of having a set bonus for enchanting, a higher level enchanter should be able to enchant lower tier weapons, better. For example:
At T2, I can enchant a T2 weapon to +56.
But a T7, for example, should be able to enchant it to a +156 or something.
So for every tier over the item, you gain a bonus +25 or whatever.
Example:
Enchanting Bonus
This is good for a number of reasons
- It gives late game players, level 100+ something to do, they can hire out their Libraries, or Labs, or Forges to the lower levels for a price.
- It gives early game players a chance to kick arse.
- Extra stuff to enchant or smith or craft to raise level
- Better stuff in Market, to boost the economy
Etc etc etc
I doubt I need to go into Detail.
But the idea of a level 18 making a Artifact+ sword with 345 damage, and that being the maximum it can be (apart from gems and enchanting), but a level 100 t9 player making a Artifact+ Sword that is 500-700 damage for example, will bring range, excitement, a bit of competition.
Same can said of Gems and of Enchantments.
