Would be cool if instead of having to mute certain people individually, there was a global mute option to ignore everyone currently logged in. Something like /ignoreall. Thinking that this would be useful during some of the...ah...weirder times on chat, and would save the trouble of having to individually ignore everyone for a certain amount of time only to unignore them later when things have returned to a more normal state.

k, people are posting dick pics in chat now? all the more reason to have an option to mute all. you've cultivated a userbase that has a lot of odd people, so for those of us who don't want to look at underdeveloped penises and weird chatlines about licking each other, giving us an option to silence chat (or at least hide it) would be great.

This would be considered pornographic material. If this HAS occurred in the past and was not muted and if the offensive pictures were not removed, please let me know.
The topic of a ignoreall or chat disable state has been suggested several times and each time I have denied the request. There are several reasons for this.
1. Mods and Admins NEED to be able to PM players for moderation purposes. 2. It allows for a anti-social community to develop. 3. It can lead to false positives where people forget that they have disabled chat, leading to more administrative overhead.
As it stands right now, with the suggestion as is, it is not an ideal candidate. I'll leave it open for a few days for dialogue but without a vast improvement to this idea I will be closing it.
