I would like to see the max clan members to be 10-15 after upgrades. I play a lot of other games similar to this and they all have the same issue down the road. 1 - 2 clans pull way ahead of the rest due to all the higher level players joining one clan. If you have a lower max member limit you can add more stuff down the road like clan pvp and clan land and such without one clan destroying all the rest. It would make it a lot more fun and a lot more even.
Any thoughts from other players on this?

I have to agree...you need to limit the spaces in the guilds so it doesn't turn into 3 or 4 guilds that are home to everyone, with the other guilds miles behind.

xbustax It wouldn't make all clans even level but it would even the playing field a lot if only 10 of the top players could join a clan vs 20 or more of the top players in 1 clan.

If it was me.. I'd of made it so the clan starts at 5 max members and builds up to 15 max. Just me maybe but I think smaller clans make it more enjoyable than 3-4 'super' clans.

or just start clans out at 2 till the clan reaches a lvl then they can recruit 2 more for a total of 4 in a clan and let it keep going up till it reaches its MAX in clans.

I think with the growth the game has shown in the first week, you can expect a lot of players after the first few months. A clan size of 30-40 members is very reasonable I think for these types of games and as the players online gets higher and higher you can adjust it as needed.
The average online now is only around 50ish and there are 5 (or more) full clans with lots of people waiting on clan spots. Extrapolate that out over more and more new players joining as word of the game spreads and I could see clans topping out around 50 members once there is 200+ players online average with dozens of active, strong, full clans.

I fully agree with ShadowX. A lot of games get dominated by 1 or 2 clans. So far there is 5 clans with 10 in each. I think it should be gauged by the average online players as Rare suggests, but have a vision of more clans. 5 is not enough and I'd hate to see it dominated. Needs to be as even as possible, more than 15 in one clan could see too much domination. For now we should keep it tight which would allow more peoples to start new clans and still remain competitive. Until we know where we are going with clans lets not let it get out of control.

20 people max makes sense. An absolute 'Hell No!' to anyone wanting a 50 member clan.. That would be beyond dominating the game as that will be a considerable percentage of all active members, even in a month or so.

A max of 20 including upgrades seem a reasonable and fair amount. 10 starting out and the ability to upgrade to allow another 10 spots.

The limit was applied quite a long time ago and will never be raised again. Closing and moving.
